As part of our continued sector and community education support, our Senior Consultant Siobhan Wolverson, presented at an Aberdeen & Grampian Chamber of Commerce property event recently.
The focus of the presentation was on the business benefits that energy efficient offices can offer. The presentation focused on key support areas including; reduced energy bills and improved greenhouse gas reporting.
The presentation from Siobhan highlighted this can also have knock-on effects of an increase in tenant occupancy rates, rent prices, tenant satisfaction, employee productivity and property value.
As many Local Authorities and Social Landlords are exploring the advantages to tenants and possible revenue which sustainable energy can provide, the presentation was very well received.
Commenting afterwards, Siobhan said “It was a great pleasure to speak at the event and as we continue to support sectors with educational talks we see more and more the challenges that some may face.
Presenting to Housing Associations and Social Landlords at these events allows us a great insight to best practice and structure to support both landlords and the end user.
It always encourages me when you see the take up at these events and the enthusiasm when individuals are furnished with valuable information and act upon it”.
Several staff attended from our Aberdeenshire Office to support Siobhan, and they all enjoyed the informative day at this property event.
A very special thanks from the VG Consulting team goes out to Aberdeen & Grampian Chamber of Commerce for inviting us and also Brodies LLP for hosting the event.
